During April we'll be around in Europe so there will be very little time and thoughts going to the pinball machine. Planning the tour and dealing with various venues all over the world, along with rehearsing with a new band member, has taken most of my time this year (and a good portion last year as well).
But when I'm back, I intend to finish the machine up fast! Time to wrap it up! :)
Meanwhile, you can all help me decide on a position for my new crawler splicer figure...
1) This way...? |
2) Or like this? |
3) Maybe even this. But then the right area looks crowded. |
4) It's also possible to have it like this. Perhaps even just the upper body. |
I purchased the figure to add some detail to the left area of the board, but which position do you think looks the best?
Oh, and by the way - this is how the package looked upon arrival. *thumbs up*
5) The postal office needs Anger Management in their lives! |
I would definitely go with the first option, but move it a bit forwards so that the right hand covers the nut for improved aesthetics.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your pinball machine in action!
Thanks for your reply! :)
DeleteYeah, I'm leaning towards this position as well. The downside would be that the figure would have to be removed/fastened any time the board needs to be rotated. Not a big hassle, but it would be nice to have everything fixed on the actual playfield.
Next update will most probably feature a couple of videos!
Agreed with 1) I think it feels more 'meshed' with the table and not just a toy standing next to it.
DeleteI was split between number 1 & 2 but I'd probably choose number 1 in the end. He is a "crawler" so to have him crawling rather than standing up makes sense on some level?
ReplyDeleteGood luck on the tour!
Cheers,
Shaz
Yes, it feels wrong to have him standing up. :)
DeleteThanks!
I see your post office is as good as ours :) I'd vote #3.
ReplyDeleteHaha, yes... it's most probably a global postal thing... ;)
Delete#3?
How come? :)
it just looks like it fits well there, clear of the playfield and ball hits and looks more menacing and easier to see.
