Let there be lights!

After around two years in the making - this is a most welcome sight!

1) Most lights active. Global illumination lights are mostly absent in this picture.
The final version will be a bit more brighter.

2) View from the underside.

A little more to do on lighting before calling it done, such as - global illumination, reversing the polarity of two of the bumper lights and some general adjustments.

But it's looking rather good!

  2. Thanks!
It's been a bit of a struggle - but a lot learned and lots more to learn! ;)

  3. the needle/drill brightness seems to overshadow the rest of the machine. maybe its a bit too bright? if its not always on, I guess it does not matter.

  4. Hehe, you're right - in the pictures all lights are 100% on.
I will be doing duty cycling for the lights needing that, as well as too preserve power.
The reason for it being so bright is that it's the only light rated for +5 volts (3.3 actually, so it needs protection) and the bulbs are rated at 6.3V. :)
